After use, fully open the umbrella to air-dry before closing and storing to prevent mold and fabric breakdown. Avoid forcing a bent frame—straighten ribs gently—and store in a dry place; periodic cleaning with mild soap and water will remove dirt and preserve coatings

Price often reflects build quality (reinforced ribs, metal shafts), canopy fabric and coatings (UV or advanced water repellents), and convenience features (automatic open/close, compactness). Pay more for better wind performance, durable frames, or specialty fabrics; basic models suffice for occasional use
