Entry-level seats and basic frame-mounted models commonly fall under about $50–$150; mid- to higher-end seats with advanced mounting systems, better padding, or weather covers typically range higher, with premium brands and trailers costing more

Regularly inspect mounting hardware, straps, and buckles for wear or looseness; wipe down the shell with mild soap and water, remove and wash removable padding per the manufacturer's instructions, and store the seat indoors or protected from prolonged sun and moisture

Many child seats are compatible with e-bikes, but check the seat's maximum supported weight, mounting compatibility with your e-bike frame or rack, and local regulations about carrying children on e-bikes before use
