Basic chimney starters and starter cones are typically the least expensive, while electric or gas-powered starters cost more but offer faster, more controlled ignition

Electric starters heat quickly, require no lighter fluid, and are simple to use but need a power source and can be bulkier; chimney starters are inexpensive, portable, and chemical-free but require newspaper or kindling and take longer to get coals fully ready
