Regular tasks include cleaning debris from the pump and nozzles, checking and replacing worn seals or impellers, winterizing or removing pumps in freezing climates, and monitoring water levels and algae growth to maintain performance and water quality

Fountains increase surface agitation and aeration, which can improve oxygen levels and circulation and help reduce stagnant areas that promote algae, but they do not replace filtration or proper nutrient control for algae management
