Humidifiers commonly range from budget options under $50 to higher-end models over $200, with an average around $80; price differences typically reflect tank capacity and runtime, build quality, advanced features (built-in humidistats, filters, aromatherapy), and brand reliability

Maintain humidity between 30% and 50% to avoid mold growth, clean the unit regularly to prevent bacterial or mold contamination, place the humidifier on a stable, water-resistant surface away from electronics, and follow child-safety guidance for warm-mist models because of burn risk
