Combination Presentation Boards

A combination presentation board integrates two or more surfaces (for example whiteboard and cork or whiteboard and glass) to support writing, pinning, and displaying materials; choose one when you need a multipurpose surface for meetings, classrooms, or collaborative workspaces

Common surfaces include painted steel or melamine whiteboards (affordable, good for light use), glass whiteboards (stain-resistant, smooth erase), and cork or fabric panels for pinning; select based on durability, erasability, and whether you need pin-friendly areas

Measure the available wall space and viewing distance—boards 3–6 feet wide work for small rooms, larger boards suit conference rooms; check mounting type (wall-mounted, mobile easel, or magnetic) and wall material to ensure proper installation and weight support

Look for stain- and ghost-resistant surfaces (tempered glass or porcelain-coated steel), a durable frame and mounting hardware, and magnetic capability if you need magnets; these features reduce cleaning frequency and extend usable life

For glass use a standard glass cleaner or mild detergent; for porcelain or painted steel use whiteboard cleaner or isopropyl alcohol; avoid abrasive cleaners on painted or fabric surfaces and regularly remove pins and tacks from cork to prevent tearing

Check for available accessories such as marker trays, mounting brackets, caster bases for mobile units, and replacement cork or marker surfaces; ensure compatibility with the board’s dimensions and attachment system before purchasing
