Prices vary by brand and features: basic spiral notebooks are often available under $10, mid-range durable or specialty notebooks typically fall between $10–$50, and premium or refillable systems can cost more; assess features against frequency of use

Store flat or upright in a dry place away from direct sunlight, avoid overstuffing pockets to prevent page warping, and handle coils gently to keep pages aligned; for reusable notebooks, follow manufacturer cleaning instructions for ink removal

Look for recycled or FSC-certified paper, covers made from recycled or biodegradable materials, and brands that use recyclable metal coils; also consider refillable notebooks to reduce waste over time
