Spot-clean the cover with mild soap and water, allow to air dry completely before storage, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and store in a cool, dry place away from damp ground to prevent mold and foam degradation

Consider accessories such as backpack-style harnesses for carrying, shoulder straps, haul loops for securing multiple pads together, and a brush and mat for cleaning landings; always use a spotter and inspect pads regularly for damage

Crash pads commonly span budget to premium ranges; lower-cost pads can be suitable for casual use, while mid-range to higher-priced pads typically offer better multi-density foam, tougher covers, and more durable hardware—decide based on frequency of use and approach difficulty
