Trampoline Enclosures

Measure the outside diameter or rectangle length and width of the trampoline frame and choose an enclosure listed for that same size; enclosures are made to match specific diameters (e.g., 8', 10', 12', 15') or rectangular dimensions and may not fit frames with nonstandard or scalloped edges

Look for high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or UV-resistant netting, sturdy vertical poles with foam padding, a secure bottom attachment system or springs cover, and a zipper or overlapping entry with a safety latch to reduce accidental openings

Most enclosures are designed to retrofit common trampoline models; installation typically requires assembling pole uprights to the frame or spring cover using included brackets, fasteners and simple tools like a wrench and screwdriver, but always check compatibility notes and included hardware before purchase

With regular care, nets and pole padding often last several seasons; rinse off dirt, let components dry before storage, inspect for UV damage, torn netting or corroded hardware, and replace worn parts promptly to maintain safety

Lower-cost enclosures often use thinner netting and lighter poles, while higher-priced options may feature thicker UV-treated nets, sturdier powder-coated steel poles, and more robust attachment systems; expect price to correlate with materials and durability rather than feature exclusivity

A properly installed enclosure should not significantly alter trampoline bounce because it attaches to the frame or spring cover rather than the jumping mat; however, added weight from heavy poles or improper fastening could slightly affect frame tension on some models

Choose enclosures with UV-resistant netting and rust-resistant (e.g., galvanized or powder-coated) poles and hardware for outdoor use, and consider removing or securely covering the enclosure in high-wind seasons to prevent damage
