Clean and dry surfaces of dust, oil, and loose material; shake the can thoroughly, spray an even coat from the recommended distance (usually 6–12 inches), allow tack time if required, then press surfaces together and apply pressure or clamping as directed

There are formulations specifically designed for foam and fabrics that minimize solvent damage; choose a low-solvent or foam-safe aerosol adhesive and test on a scrap piece before full application

Store cans upright in a cool, dry place away from heat sources and direct sunlight, keep out of reach of children, and follow local regulations for disposal—many areas require empty cans to be taken to hazardous-waste or recycling facilities
