Clean with mild soap and water, avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents that can damage resins, and protect exposed resin with UV-stable clearcoat or wax to reduce yellowing. Verify sheet dimensions, thickness tolerance, weave type, fiber orientation (for unidirectional products), surface finish (gelcoat, glossy, matte, or raw), and whether the product is single-layer fabric, laminated, or prepreg. Also check the stated tensile strength or modulus if mechanical performance is critical and confirm whether the sheet is compatible with your chosen resin or bonding method
