Look for specified pressure setpoint range, regulation accuracy (often given as ± psi or percentage), and a locking/relief mechanism; also check for gauge quality and whether the regulator has internal or external sensing for better stability

Consider integrated gauges, safety relief valves, automatic drains, mounting brackets, and replacement element kits; modular FRL systems or quick-connect ports can simplify maintenance and future upgrades
