- 1. 2 1/2 inches of flat mounting depth inside your window frame is necessary for a fully flush installation. 2. Measure the width in three places top, middle, and bottom. Use the narrowest width when ordering. 3. Round down to the nearest 1/2 inch when selecting the width size. 4. Your blind will arrive with a 1/2 inch deduction.
